With Gary's help I bought a townhouse. This was not a brief nor easy process.

When we finally found a townhouse that fit, the deal was in many ways for me very frustrating.

After three wonderful years of living aboard my yacht in Marina del Rey the time had come for me to find a terrestrial home.
I had been engaged for two years to my fiance who was moving from Japan to Los Angeles to begin our new life together.
Feeling overwhelmed by all of the events I had a long talk with my good friend, yacht racing partner and Realtor, Gary Dannenbaum.
Gary had a very pragmatic approach- “We'll run the numbers, pre-qualify you, lay out your requirements and find you a great place.”
When I made an appointment to see the townhouse I thought I was the only one making an offer but there where five other
buyers viewing the property when I arrived. Thankfully Gary had prepared and submitted my well written offer and mine was accepted right away.

Life events come like waves on the beach.
When my landlord exercised his options under the month-to-month lease I had enjoyed for five years I needed a new home, fast, for my family of three. But, more than that, I needed a strong arm to lean on in the midst of a storm of life events.
I called Gary. His calm, professional and pragmatic approach to sorting through the housing market helped me find, negotiate and finalize the deal on our new home.

We had listed our home on Point Dume in Malibu for lease with one of the supposedly "top brokerages" in Malibu. We got no activity; and more importantly, not much in the way of customer service. Gary Dannenbaum certainly earned my gratitude this week. After 20 years of being a home owner, I suddenly needed to find a rental. I found the 'usual sources' of locating rentals caused my blood pressure to soar. So, I called Gary.
Within a few hours he had a long list of places to view. Within 24 hours we had narrowed the list and completed a 'drive by' of the most promising. Just before Gary and I were set to view the top five, he called to say that all but one had already been rented. That one turned out to be my daughter's favorite anyway. The positive karma continued as Gary negotiated a person with marginal (at best) credit into a beautiful apartment.
Gary Dannenbaum truly took a load of worries off my mind in a friendly and professional manner.
